Hi! I’m Jenny.
Welcome to my world of medicine.
Not so long ago, I was a premed dreaming about one day becoming a doctor.
Today I’m a 4th year medical student applying into dermatology residency. I still remember the stress of studying for my first histology exam, Step 1, and third-year clerkships, and learned a lot from students who walked the path before me. I hope to share with readers my journey through medical school and beyond, including my struggles and occasional pearls of wisdom. My goal is for readers to benefit from my resources and tips for surviving a career in medicine, because it’s a long journey ahead!
I would also love to hear your feedback. Feel free to contact me about anything from medical school to sushi!
Happy National Women Physicians Day! 👩🏻⚕️Today is the 195th birthday of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the US. It's trailblazers like her who help pave the way for the rest of us. Cheers to all the amazing women physicians and physicians-to-be out there. Can't wait to get that MD!! 😂 #nwpd #iamblackwell #nationalwomenphysiciansday #womeninmedicine
